What we have done

On this page you will find the summary of our initiatives. We want to teach fishing, not to send canned fish

We transform ideas into projects to be funded and then we realise them thanks to the support of all our members.
Here you find the balance sheet files of the non-profit organization. Transparency: all the funds raised are entirely spent, nothing remains in Italy.
In the photos (link page Trips to Africa) you see the testimonies of our works, the details of the journey to witness the progress of the projects.

We have contributed to the construction of a mill to support the Fada N'Gourma orphanage (Burkina Faso) which is home to 50 children and has no funding or help. This mill represents a fundamental infrastructure in the area, rural and backward, where the seeds are still broken by hand, with great waste and waste of energy. Il Mulino will allow you to work with grain for animals without having to reach the capital Ouagadougou, an 8-hour round trip journey. Il Mulino will allow the population, especially women to engage in less heavy activities and offspring.

At the end of the hens life cycle, these are sold and the chicks are bought back with the proceeds.

The center is located inside the Mission next to a first aid medical center, which welcomes Italian and French doctors with ophthalmic specialization. The center welcomes undernourished children who reside in the southern part of the country, very poor, backward and without public infrastructure (water, electricity). The health workers of the center (nurse and doctor) welcome mothers in difficulty and teach them how to balance the diet of undernourished children; every year over 500 children are welcomed and followed on a weekly basis. The food supplement is provided by FAO.
